3 Days Safari From Zanzibar to Selous Game Reserve by Boat and Road trip from Dar es salaam is a popular safari from Zanzibar it’s about 1hr and 30 minutes from Zanzibar to Dar es salaam by ferry or 20 minutes by flight to Nyerere domestic airport also 4 hrs drive from Dar es salaam to Selous Game drive (Nyerere National Park.
The Selous Game Reserve is one of the largest faunal reserves in the world, located in the south of Tanzania. It was named after Englishman Sir Frederick Selous, a famous big game hunter and early conservationist, who died at Beho Beho in this territory in 1917 while fighting against the Germans during World War I.
The Selous was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1982 due to the diversity of its wildlife and undisturbed nature. The reserve covers a total area of 54,600 km2 and has additional buffer zones.
Within the reserve, no permanent human habitation or permanent structures are permitted.

Some of the typical animals of the savanna (are African Bush Elephants, Black rhinos, hippos, Lions, Wild Dogs, Cheetahs, Cape Buffaloes, Giraffes, and Nile crocodiles) can be found in this park in larger numbers than in any other African game reserve or national park.
You will be picked up and drive straight to Selous Game reserve which is known as Nyerere National Park for four(4) hours and reach the lodge for lunch.
Then around evening, you will go for a boat safari till sunset you will be able to spot hippos, crocodiles, birds, and monitor lizards. Then be back for dinner.

You will wake up early then have breakfast and leave for a full-day game drive with a lunch box which will be taken inside the park beside the lake with a great view.
Inside the park, you will be able to spot different animals such as Lion, elephants, buffalo, wild beasts, Pumba(what hog), giraffes, and zebras all of the animals found in Tanzania. Be back to the lodge by evening for dinner and rest
