The Serengeti National Park in Tanzania was established in 1952. It is home to the greatest wildlife spectacle on earth – the great migration of wildebeest and zebra. The resident population of lions, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, and birds is also impressive. There’s a wide variety of accommodation available, from luxury lodges to mobile camps.

The Serengeti is known for its huge wildlife populations. White-bearded wildebeest, zebras, and gazelle migrate annually during the great migration from the plains of the Serengeti in Tanzania to the grasslands of the Maasai Mara in Kenya in search of fresh grass.

The park covers 5,700 sq miles, (14,763 sq km), it’s larger than Connecticut, with at most a couple of hundred vehicles driving around.
The Serengeti National Park can be divided into 3 sections. The popular southern/central part (Seronera Valley), is what the Maasai called the “Serengeti”, the land of endless plains. It’s a classic savannah, dotted with acacias and filled with wildlife.
The western corridor is marked by the Grumeti River and has more forests and dense bush. The north, Lobo area, which meets up with Kenya’s Masai Mara Reserve, is the least visited section.
Depart with a flight from Zanzibar to the Serengeti National Park. Upon arrival, you will be met by our guide, starting with a Full game drive with a lunch box, later transfer back to the lodge for dinner and overnight (Kati Kati Tented Camp)
Breakfast will be served and a full day of game drives safari in Serengeti is available. Upon your return lunch will be ready at which time you are free to roam around or go for an afternoon game drive. overnight (Kati Kati Tented Camp)
After an early breakfast, enjoy a final early morning game drive in Serengeti National Park before arriving at a Serengeti airstrip where you will catch the 10:45/11:00 am flight back to Zanzibar, upon arrival transfer to your hotel.
