Overview

Spice Tour Zanzibar

Spice Tour Zanzibar is one of the most popular excursions on Zanzibar island.

In days past Zanzibar was known as a spice island and one of the world’s leading producers of spices such as cinnamon, nutmeg, clove, lemongrass, nutmeg, cinnamon, turmeric, vanilla, coconuts, papaya, chilli, black pepper, jackfruit, cardamom, cassava, oranges, etc.

The spices were brought over from Asia and South America and flourished in the tropical climes.

This tour is a walking tour on a spice farm (shamba), it will take about 3hrs while there you shall see how the spices, herbs, and fruits grow and are cultivated.

Your tour guide will describe how the crops can be used and will take you to an organic farm with a wide variety of plants around the year.

Walkthrough the spice farm with your guide. Touch, smell and taste different spices and tropical fruits.

After Seeing all Spices and fruits available from the Spice plantation you will see the products and Parked Spices available from a local seller and show all products which are made by available spices like soap, and perfumes, they will sell you if you like natural spices.
