Fumba Zanzibar is a village on the Tanzanian island of Unguja, part of Zanzibar. It is located in the southwest of the island, at the end of the Fumba Peninsula, and overlooks Menai Bay

Jozani Chwaka Bay National Park
It’s the only national park in Zanzibar and it’s located about 17km from Fumba. The park features a wide range of wildlife species, but it’s well-known for the rare red Colobus Monkeys as well as the Sykes monkeys. You will find a variety of butterflies and bird species in the park.
Zanzibar Butterfly Centre
Zanzibar Butterfly Centre has located about 14km from Fumba and several minutes from Jozani Chawka Bay National Park. Here, you will find a lush tropical garden with hundreds of butterflies that are native only to Zanzibar.
Zanzibar has a tropical climate and can be visited year-round. But for a sunny experience, it is best to avoid the rainy seasons from mid-March to the end of May and then the ‘short rains’ November.
If you visit Zanzibar specifically for diving, it is good to know the diving on the north coast is excellent from June to October, and the south coast is best between November and March.
